This lesson teaches students 3 steps for making a genuine and heartfelt apology with a fun snowman theme!
❄️ Just like it takes 3 snowballs to build a snowman, it takes 3 steps to apologize:
- “I’m sorry that I…” (base of the snowman)
- “I see that I made you feel…” (body of the snowman)
- “Next time I will…” (head of the snowman)

- An interactive printable activity that let’s students practice building an Apology Snowman. 12 Step 1 (“I’m sorry that I…”) cards, 6 Step 2 (I see that I made you feel…”) cards, and 12 Step 3 (Next time I will…) cards are included, as well as the 3 snowballs. Students choose 3 cards (one for each step) to form their apology and then use this model to say the apology out loud.
